Hello everyone and welcome to a very busy term 1.

My ESL program is well and truly underway and there are lots of interesting things happening this term.

This term Year 1 students are focusing on learning to write personal recounts.

Year 2 students are enjoying  learning to write information reports about insects and other minibeasts in our environment. They have been learning to find key words from texts and then group them into headings - classification, description, diet, habitat, movement, breeding and other facts. From here the students  learn to construct interesting information reports on various minibeasts.
