What we offer

Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.

Canteen

All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.

Open Monday to Thursday from 9:00am – 2:00pm and sells a variety of foods over the counter for recess and lunch, as well as pre-ordered lunches.

For more information on online ordering visit www.flexischools.com.au

Volunteers

We rely on volunteers for the Canteen to operate.  If you're able to help out once or twice a term, please call or text Diana, our Canteen Supervisor on 0421 156 713.

This is a great oppurtunity to meet new friends.  We run a number of social events and get togethers throughout the year, including morning-teas, dinners and our very own ‘Master Class' cooking demonstrations.

The Canteen Committee meets twice a term. New faces are always welcome.  Watch the school newsletter for details of upcoming meetings.

Weekly Specials & Term Specials

Term promotions & competitions are run to encourage healthy eating.  There are a range of weekly and daily specials available.

Check the school newsletter for a list of weekly specials available over the counter at recess.  They are usually priced between 30c – $2.00.

How to Order Lunches

Our canteen offers online ordering

This easy to use system shows the full menu and prices, and you can order securely without having to find the correct change or paper bag.  This system saves valuable time for our volunteers' and speeds up the morning tasks.  Go to www.flexischools.com.au and follow the easy steps.  Online orders close at 9:15am.

or You can write your child's name, class and lunch order on a plain paper bag.

Please include the correct change, fold the bag and place in the class lunch basket inside the classroom.

(Please don't glue, tape or staple the bag, or wrap the money to make our volunteers' job much easier).

Lunch baskets are collected by class monitors.

We try to process late ‘bag' lunch orders.  Sometimes we may need to substitute menu items, if the ordered food isn't available.

Allergies and ‘no hat, no canteen'

All students are required to wear a hat during recess and lunch.  The coloured ‘allergy hats' help staff and volunteers to keep all students safe.

We follow the Fresh Tastes @ School strategy and choose ‘canteen approved' foods as advised by the Healthy Kids School Canteen Association.

We try to meet most dietary needs, such as gluten free by including a variety of foods.  Please do not hesitate to contact Diana about any products and their ingredients.

Meal deals

Are combinations of popular lunch menu items and is great value for money at $5.00.  Winter Meal Deals run Terms 2 & 3, and Summer for Terms 1 & 4.

Check out the Meal Deals over-page and online. A special ‘mystery' meal deal is available only through online orders.

Questions?

Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.

Learn more about the NSW Department of Education’s School Uniform Policy.

The Uniform Shop now accepts cash, cheque or credit cards.
