The CPS Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) aims to:
- to promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation
- to assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and in promoting the recreation and welfare of the students at the school
Meetings are held at 7.00pm on the second Wednesday of each month, during term, in the E1 meeting room and via Zoom.
All parents and guardians of students enrolled at the school, and all citizens within the school community are eligible to be members. There's no minimum number of meetings you have to attend to remain a member.
The annual membership fee is $2. This can be easily paid online via the Uniform shop ordering site: https://croydon-school-uniform.square.site/pandc-membership by adding the membership item to your cart for payment (or alternatively in person at the uniform shop).
For any queries or to pay via direct debit, please contact: croydonpublicpnc@gmail.com so that we can ensure we have your contact details.
many thanks,

These meetings are a very important part of the running of the school because they allow for an exchange of ideas between staff, parents/carers and community members. Some examples of what is discussed at meetings includes; school uniform changes, how the canteen and uniform shop are running, the renovations underway, relevant things happening in the community, fundraising and social events, COVID management, and traffic management. A member of the P&C also forms part of the selection panel for appointment of new teachers.
The P&C members also make decisions about how P&C funds are spent. In recent years the P&C have purchased Chromebooks and Robotics equipment for use in the classrooms, funded a Speech Pathologist position at the school and most recently the upcoming upgrade to the K-2 playground.
It's open to everyone to join, and you're welcome to come along to a meeting without joining as a member.
